About OWOS

Where It All Began

OWOS began with a simple idea: important information, actions, and records should be easier to verify and harder to fake. Our goal is to help everyday people, and we put that into practice by directing 8% of monthly revenue to charities we partner with.

What began as a broader platform evolved into a federation of specialized applications built around a common identity foundation.

Instead of forcing every capability into one massive application, OWOS is being built as independent networks that can solve specific problems while securely working together.

Identity became the foundation. From that foundation, OWOS can expand into safety, work, staffing, property, vehicles, commerce, education, community impact, legacy, and other areas of everyday life. Everything is opt-in for the user and all of your data is exportable.

Welcome to the Open World Operating System.

Our mission

OWOS is being built to create a trusted digital foundation for real-world life.

Our goal is to give people, organizations, and assets persistent identities that can connect to useful applications without requiring every system to operate as another isolated platform.

OWOS is designed around user control, verification, interoperability, durable records, and practical real-world utility.

As the federation grows, each new network adds another capability while remaining connected to the same underlying foundation.

One identity. Many networks. One expanding federation.

WHAT IS OWOS?

OWOS is an expanding federation of specialized applications and infrastructure connected through persistent identity and shared verification systems.

WHY DOES IT EXIST?

We believe technology should do more than connect people to information. It should help people build something with their lives.

That means creating opportunities to find work, build a business, establish meaningful connections, protect what you create, contribute to your community, and access systems designed to help you move forward.

THE HUMAN MISSION

OWOS is being built so that as the federation grows, its ability to help people grows with it

A portion of OWOS revenue is directed toward charitable impact, while the networks themselves are designed to create practical opportunities for people, business, organizations, and communities.

The goal is not simply to build more technology.

it is to build infrastructure that helps people create, connect, contribute, and build a better life.

The OWOS Federation

OWOS Infrastructure - The rails that power the federation

OWOS Operational Networks - Systems for work, organizations, and real-world operations.

OWOS Operational Networks - Systems for work, organizations, and real-world operations.

Infrastructure systems provide shared capabilities such as trusted time, append-only records, verification, authorization, payments, economic coordination, and secure communication between OWOS applications.

These systems primarily operate behind the scenes so individual OWOS applications do not need to recreate critical infrastructure independently.

Examples include Clock Ledger, Action Ledger, Trust Kernel, Economy Spine, Verification, and Federation Connect.

Operational Networks apply OWOS identity and verification to real-world activity.

They are being developed for areas including workplace operations, staffing, employment, vehicles and fleets, buildings and properties, marketplaces, and dispatch.

These networks allow businesses, workers, property owners, organizations, and other participants to use specialized tools while remaining connected to the broader OWOS federation.

OWOS User Networks - Applications people use directly through their OWOS identity.

User Networks provide services centered around individuals and everyday life.

They include areas such as verified identity, emergency safety information, community impact, learning and knowledge, legacy, and other future services.

Users choose which networks they want to participate in while their OWOS Identity remains the common foundation.
